HOW TO USE OUR CATALOGUE DISK
=============================
Our catalogue is made up of a series of menu's. The main menu you are
presented with has 10 options. This is the base and everything in our library
is accessed by choosing one of the first 6 sections. Most of the sections
are self explanitory as to their content but if you are new to computers then
the following will explain what sort of programs you would expect to find in
each section. PLEASE NOTE THAT UNLESS THE TITLE OF THE SECTION SPECIFICALLY
STATES "DOS" OR "WINDOWS" THEN BOTH DOS AND WINDOWS PROGRAMS WILL BE LISTED
IN THE SECTION TOGETHER. WINDOWS PACKAGES WILL BE CLEARLY MARKED.
GAMES: GAMES! for both DOS and Windows.
LEISURE: Leisure and hobby programs. From Music and Sound, Interesting Text,
and our Home and Hobby section. The Music and Sound section contains
sound samplers, players, recorders, sound samples, music files, etc.
The Interesting Text section contains a selection of text files
covering subjects from UFO sightings to FBI raids, etc. The Home and
Hobby section contains programs covering cookery, dietry, football
forcasters, astrology, crossword compliers\helpers, Magic Eye
compliers, etc...
BUSINESS/WORK: This section contains programs covering subject areas like
communications programs for modems, word processors, accounts
packages and screen\printer drivers.
EDUCATION: There are two choices in this field. The first one is basic
educational programs from maths programs, french tutor's, science
games to even driving test tutors and more. The second section
is our religious section which covers religious aspects from
art files, church newsletters, Bible trivia quiz programs and
more.
UTILITIES: This, believe it or not, is our utilities section! There are
4 sections to choose from. General DOS Utilities are our basic
small utilities which make your computing lives a bit easier.
DOS Business utilities section covers anything like schedulers,
diary\time management, virus scanners, computer security,
billing etc... Desktop utilities are mainly programs which make
your displays visually more likeable. It has things like
screen savers in it and programs which add colour to your text
and even a selection of clocks! Finally, Windows utilities is
everything you have read in our utlilities section so far in one
file. As we are not Windows orientated and not much shareware is
produced for Windows compared to DOS, every utility we have for
Windows is in this file.
ART & GRAPHICS: This covers a massive 6 sections. Art and Viewing Programs
are basically the bulk of our art packages, viewers,
compilers, printers etc.. AutoCAD Utilities are a selection
of programs and utilities to be used with the AutoCAD
CAD package. Clipart is a selection of .PCX, .PCC, .CDR, .GIF
.BMP drawings and Windows Icons, most of which can be imported
to DTP packages and art packages. Glamour .GIF's are a
selection of piccies of bikini clad babes: Certificate PG.
Explicit Glamour .GIF's are for the older purchasers. These
piccies show bikini clad babes with bits of the bikini missing
and thus have a Certificate 18. Note you must also sign to
that effect on the order form if ordering these. GIF Pricing
is a text file containing information of our .GIF offer where
you can order 3 .GIF's for the price of 1.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GLAMOUR .GIF AND EXPLICIT GALMOUR .GIF LISTINGS HAVE
BEEN EXCLUDED FROM THIS VERSION.
The other sections in our main menu are self explanitory. Please note, when
printing the order form please have your printer set up and ready to go
before you press F8! If your screen comes up with a message....
